Fond memories

it's 1313 hr and i am alone in the maclab. waiting for the ij mei mei men to come & learn from us how to use imovie.

hur hur hur..

they look so cute. just lookin at 'em decked in their blue pinafores brings back fond memories of my 10 years in two different IJs. yes.. i was in nunnery for a decade.

primary sch was CHIJ Ponggol where huge spiders crawled on glass noticeboards & roofs that leaked when it rained. When there were thunderstorms, the school looked haunted. well, according to 99.9% of the students, the school is haunted. ya rite, maybe they were refering to the teachers or somthing.

but now CHIJ Ponggol is called CHIJ Our Lady of Nativity. which is such a large name they call it CHIJ (OLN). the last i went, it had a big big big compound that if u play catching, u will regret being the catcher.

The school looks more spacious, brighter & prettier. But the nostalgic 80s feel is gone.. :(

Then my teenage years were spent in CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls which is more of a top school than a convent. tats wad i always feel. it was another 4 years of the blue pinafore except that students competed among themselves who had the lowerest belt & shortest haircut.

& did u noe that for my sec 4 prom nite tat was held in school, every gal had to wear white! now talk about 400 white souls floating arnd in the school hall. ha ha ha

oh yes i was one of them. wearing hideous makeup & a sleeveless white POA dress. ha ha ha
