Merry Christmas everyone!!!

woke up late today but stil headed down for CNW class, followed by MME lecture. after that met iris & seow for a short meeting and went out with Cheok and gang..

actually was still contemplating whether 2 go home or not.. cos never reeally go out with 'em before.. but aniwae i am glad i did go.. hehh cos i had fun!

halfway thru.. i lost sight of alexis, sheryl & clyde.. then adib came, so adib, cheok & shallyn me went shopping at heeren so we splitted up a while. n a great adventure happened to us!! we were going down the escalator, cheok & shallyn n stepped onto the steps & suddenly the escalator increased speed x 3 times! it was so fast that adib & i would have fallen off if we stepped on it! so i quickly stabilised myself n pulled adib backwards..(imagine matrix). then the escalator stopped.. n we ran dwn the steps..totally freaked out!

phew.. thankfully nothing happened to us! if nt we would have ended up bruised on christmas eve!

later we headed on to join bernard, sheryl & clyde. we headed to alexis' wkplace for Jap food! yum... its kinda nice & i din spend a lot... d rest are still dere now..except for me & shallyn who headed home.

wad a day it has been.. fun indeed! thanks guys for making it so great.. :)

its the eve of christmas eve n i finally had some time 2 blog.. am in a very happy mood now cos i managed to give out pressies to my class people today.. basically chocolates & candy canes.. hope u guys like it.. its such a joy to give away gifts.. i shall do that again next yr!

n mr guo is so sweet.. he gave us candies too!! n he said my recording was qt good.. though i thought i was too loud.. yeah!~

aniwae faith yong, where is my adidas water bottle? u better buy it soon.. hahaa

i am waiting for arts appreciation to start.. it will be another hour but well its kinda cool juust chilling out here in mac lab, listening 2 soft music from the macs.. oopz sounds like my assgt one stuff!

actually it aint that bad 2 be celebrating christmas.. kinda nice of BSC to provide the candy floss stuff n to decorate up the whole place.

but then again, maybe becos i have aready finished my single cam 1 n radio n all.. gtg...

I am up at unearthly hour again. More or less finished my drama script. It's original but it sounds like any other scene from Holland V or Happy Fish. But well, i will just stick with it cos i decided that a scene between a divorced couple will be more mature than a cheesy bgr story.

n any comedy i write will end up sounding lame or corny. so no pt.

tmr is friday. or rather today is aready friday. time flies. we have just finished two weeks of our 13 weeks of semester 2. which means we r closer to exams, sip, fyp & graduation.

isnt it amazing? it seemed like it was only yesterdae tat i first stepped into the LT and listened to siwei talk.

n for the N-th time, i will like to say that

Haha.

i am quite tired.

okay change that, i am pretty tired. does that mean i look pretty when i am tired?

morning went kayaking with church youths. fun though i only did capsize drill. all salt h2o gt into me mouth & nose. ha. praise God for the good weather!!

went for single cam lect & tutorial. almost dozed off during lect nt becos it was boring but i was tired. woke up at 6+ in a.m. but tutorial was cool & fun. so far grp mates workng with shallyn, cheok & ally hasnt been 2 bad.

almost on way home when churchmates called again. they were going seth's grandpa's wake which was opp TP. so decided 2 join 'em even though i aready went on Monday.

i should go sleep now.

yeah I am back

it was indeed a refreshing n wonderful trip for me as i learnt many precious lessons. thoroughly enjoyed myself ministering 2the people over dere. they r just so warm & friendly...here r some pix...

the guy is actually a very famous hip-hop singer in Myanmar now! we met him at dinner. his name is sai sai kang hlaing. not very good-looking but qt cool.

In all, it was a wonderful trip as i learnt many lessons.

People really need the Lord
there were so many physical needs that we tried to meet to the people in the slums but yet it will never be enough becos the help we give is always so limited. However, if they know the Lord, their spiritual needs will be met. so must continue praying for salvation.

I am so richly blessed
We also spent time with the Bible college students there. & we gave each of 'em an ang bao. it was just S$10, yet that was their meal allowance for the month. I am so greatful to the Lord that i have so much more..

Continue to sow the seeds
It is not easy to share the gospel to people...and many a times, we r saddened becos not many turn to the Lord. But never give up, for the harvest is plentiful & someday, the harvest wil bear fruit.

Myanmar...hope to see ya again!!

I think this gonna be my last entry for the week becos next week, i will be away from school!

Nope...i haven run away from school, just that i'm goin with my church for a mission trip to Myanmar from 5th-9th dec.

its gonna be an exciting journey & i hope to really b able 2 bring joy to the people dere. hopefully can upload some pics too!

if u can, do pray for me & my team that we have a safe journey & be able to minister to the people dere...

Final Showdown!!!!

It was just great watching the finals of the Singapore Idol(while doing some other work at the same time..haha), seeing how Taufik & Sly showcasing their vocal talents song after song. In fact, when the first round ended, i was like "so fast?".

But never did i realise that there were more stuff tat were gonna come along. I was amazed by the finalists' performances. As a team, they have certainly make marked improvements. Even for some of the individuals like Olinda & Jessea, they stil prove to be worthy of the stage.

But of cos, i was most excited when they sang Rasa Sayang! it was just fabulous how this whole Singapore Idol contest was forming its own identity. I mean initially, it just seemed to formulate the entire American Idol stuff but with the Asian round & even the rasa sayang song, they have certainly won over me as a fan.

Of cos there were weeks where i din watch d show because some of the contestants just kinda disappointed me. but well, towards the final 3..& tonite, was just great. I guess because i love to hear people sing, esp talented people sing. BUt most imptly, i love the fact that these r true-blue Singaporeans who have achieved their dreams because of us!

Yes, we r small, we r just a small dot, but yet we have many talented young people who dare to dream! & I guess for pple like Taufik, Sly, Olinda, Daphne, their dreams have been fulfilled.

It doesnt matter whether their albums will sell, whether they will continue to be popular, what matters most is that they have done what they always wanted 2 do..

n most imptly there r truly Singaporeans who will support 'em with dere dreams.

Congrats to Taufik for winning the competition! (at least i din waste my 50 cents voting for you!!) Ha..but for Sly's fans out dere, dun worry because i am qt sure he'll embark a career in the Mandarin pop industry, n when tat happens, u better buy his albums!!
